Within 48 hours of our site visit, we'll provide a detailed, written quote covering everything — materials, labour, ground preparation, waste disposal, and any extras. We'll discuss material options, explain the pros and cons of each, and help you make the best choice for your budget and lifestyle.

Once you've approved the quote, we'll order your materials and schedule your installation date. We typically begin work within 2-4 weeks, depending on material availability and our current workload. We'll confirm your start date in advance and provide a clear timeline for the project. If there are any changes or delays, we'll communicate promptly.

On installation day, we begin by preparing the site — clearing vegetation, levelling the ground, and laying weed membrane where necessary. If you have an existing deck that needs removing, we'll carefully dismantle it and dispose of all waste before preparing for the new installation. For raised decks or sloping gardens, we install support posts with concrete foundations to ensure rock-solid stability.

The subframe is the backbone of your deck. We construct heavy-duty subframes using either pressure-treated timber or aluminium joists, depending on the decking material and project requirements. Every subframe is built to precise specifications with proper joist spacing, adequate ventilation, and appropriate load-bearing capacity. This attention to structural detail is what separates a professional installation from a DIY job.

With the subframe complete, we install your chosen decking boards using hidden fixings (for composite/PVC) or stainless steel screws (for timber). We ensure consistent board spacing for drainage and expansion, and cut all edges cleanly for a professional finish.
